Happy New year my lovelies,
My prayers go out to my friend who lost her husband and son in a car accident.May God bring her out of coma alive and may He grant her the strength to bare this great loss.
Ladies and gentlemen..life is short..
We need to be grateful to God for the Life we have, we need to appreciate God for our spouse and stop complaining about what we feel our spouse is lacking.
I am not perfect and I do not expect anyone to be perfect but we need to stop all unnecessary fights and quarrels. Some couples live in the same house but yet they do not relate with each other. Stop lying to your spouse. stop cheating on your spouse. Nobody forced you to the alter to take those vows; therefore stick with your vows.
If you and your spouse have got a gap you better start bridging that gap because you never know how long you have to spend together. Do you want to look back at the times you spent together and regret how you hurt your spouse?
The bible says ''wives be submissive to your husband"..I know it is not easy but we have to try to put in an extra effort. Let's not always look at divorce as a way out of problems in marriage. We have to stick in there and fix things.. remember a virtuous woman builds her home. May God grant us the grace.
Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the church(God commands us to do this). The bible did not say lie to your wife, the bible did not say tell your wife you are working late when you are out there sleeping with some other girl. Love your wife just as Christ loves the church means you should be ready to die for your wife. You should love her unconditionally even if she is unable to lose the baby weight.
Treat each other with LOVE, RESPECT each other, Be ready to DEFEND each other at all times, COMMUNICATE with your spouse and be TOLERANT.
Enough said for now... Life is too short. Make your relationship and your marriage work.

ReplyDeleteMay God grant us the wisdom to understand the finite nature of life, before it is too late for us and those we love. It might sound cheesy, but 'real' is all you need, they have told us many times in books and everywhere else you care to look for it that love isn't enough, I agree. Only 'real love' can make a relationship work. Your everyday dime a dozen love won't cut it when it comes to the serious things. It won't let you CHEAT because you RESPECT and APPRECIATE your partner and your RELATIONSHIP.

I have a neighbour who openly cheats on her husband cos she brings money into d home. she has no respect for her husband and talks to him anyhow,with all d money she gets I don't envy her, I feel nothing but pity for her..It's sometimes hard to b submissive especially with our working class and sophisticated wives nowadays but there are blessings in being submissive. May God help us
